The thin section — for tight construction joints and slab kickers where cover is limited.
A hydrophilic profile fixed to the first pour before the second one goes in. On contact with water it swells against the concrete either side of it and closes the joint under pressure.
Because it is surface-fixed rather than cast through the section, it suits joints where reinforcement congestion leaves no room for a conventional PVC waterstop — and it can be run around penetrations a rigid profile cannot follow.
